Inspired by Jean over at The Artful Parent:
We found some different fabric crayons than Jean used. I wanted some that would work on natural fibers. Pentel Fabric Fun crayons work on natural fibers and you draw right on the t-shirt. They rub smooth like an oil pastel and once we had sufficiently stretched the t-shirts, the kids didn’t have any trouble drawing with them.

The colors went on nice and bright and while you could smear and smudge like you would with an oil pastel, accidental smudges didn’t cause any problems, H’s crisp lines stayed crisp.

After the kids were done drawing, I ironed the shirts and tossed them in the wash. H and little C wanted to try them on immediately:

Looks like fun! We’ll have to try this.
